A Mother Mary Theresa Dudzik Prayer For before you view the documentary
(
Prayers written by Very Rev. Steven Bartczyszyn, C.R.)

Heavenly Father, We come before you today with hearts uplifted in gratitude and reverence as we gather to witness this special showing of the life and ministry of Mother Theresa Dudzik. We thank you for her remarkable example of faith and service, and for the profound impact she had through her dedication to your call.

We reflect on the legacy of Mother Theresa Dudzik and the Franciscan Sisters of Chicago, who, following in the footsteps of St. Francis and St. Clare, have tirelessly served the marginalized, the sick, and the vulnerable. Their selfless ministry of compassion and love has been a beacon of hope in our world, illuminating the path of humility and charity.

As we watch this film, may we be inspired by Mother Theresa Dudzik’s unwavering faith and her deep commitment to your Gospel. Through her life, may we learn the importance of seeing you in every person, especially in those most in need. Grant us, Lord, the grace to emulate her spirit of generosity, kindness, humility, and obedience and to serve others with joy and selflessness; never looking to honor ourselves but to be all and do all for the glory of your name. We lift up in prayer all those who have contributed to the making of this film.

May their efforts bear fruit in touching hearts and minds, awakening a renewed sense of compassion and solidarity among all who view it. Bless this showing, and all showings of this film Lord. May it be a testament to your love and mercy, and a reminder of the transformative power of faith lived in action. May it bring glory to your holy name and draw many closer to you. We ask all these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.

A Mother Mary Theresa Dudzik Prayer For after you view the documentary

Dear God, We thank you for the life and example of Mother Teresa Dudzik, who dedicated her life to serving others with compassion and love. As we conclude this time of reflection through the documentary, we ask for your guidance in applying the lessons we have learned.

May we be inspired to emulate her selfless spirit in our own lives, reaching out to those in need and spreading your love wherever we go. We pray for all those who are suffering, that they may find comfort and hope in your presence. Strengthen us to be instruments of your peace and channels of your grace.

Heavenly Father, you inflamed the compassionate heart of Mother Mary Theresa with the heroic virtues of charity and mercy. If it is Your will, may she be declared Blessed for Your honor and glory and may she inspire others to imitate her love for the needy, poor and suffering of our world. This we ask through Christ our Lord. Amen.
